H&C Stader is one of the leading providers of historical and archival services and a certified member of the Association of Leading PR and Communications Agencies (GPRA). At peak capacity, H&C Stader handles more than 30 projects per year. Under the H&C Stader umbrella, the specialized divisions History & Communication and Archival Services are united.

 

Our History & Communication division supports you in preparing and organizing a milestone company anniversary. We conduct professional research in archives and write modern company histories. In addition, we curate and produce exhibitions (digital and analog), history showrooms, and company museums. We conduct eyewitness interviews, write scripts and storyboards for history films, produce podcasts, and plan your history social media campaign.

Our Archive division is your partner, consultant, and service provider for archiving projects. This includes all archival activities, appraisal and cataloguing of records, digitization, and conservation work. In addition, we offer consulting services on archive setup, archive space planning, archive software, and the storage of archival materials. With the archive specialist archivalism GmbH – a company of the H&C Stader Group – we are a full-service provider in the field of archiving.

Space for your company history (or histories) – With the construction of our new storage and office building, the H&C Stader History Hub, we are bringing together the divisions History & Communication – services related to company anniversaries – and archival services under one roof. The storage building provides space for around 3.5 linear kilometers of archival materials – for temporary or long-term storage.

Our history

We continuously evolve and take on new challenges – for over 10 years.

 

2013

Dr. Ingo Stader founded the history agency H&C Stader GmbH History & Communication in Mannheim.

2014

H&C Stader relocates to a new, larger office

2016

First dedicated storage spaces and office equipment for archival work

2018

H&C Stader becomes a training company for FaMIs (specialists in media and information services)

2019

Opening of the H&C Stader site in Hamburg. Establishment of H&C Stader Archive GmbH

2021

Opening of the H&C Stader site in Berlin. By now, 24 permanent employees

2022

Groundbreaking for the construction of the History Hub. Hosting of the first #HistoryComms conference in Frankfurt am Main. Investment into archivalism GmbH

2024

As part of its GPRA membership, H&C Stader is certified to the ICCO Consultancy Management Standard (CMS IV)
In May: Move into the new H&C Stader History Hub building.

2025

H&C Stader acquires all shares in archivalism GmbH and becomes the sole shareholder.
